  I have purchased several computers from Tekshop of NC, Inc. over the course of 15 years, and have had my computers upgraded and serviced by them. Now that I live 2 hours from there, yesterday I made the 4 hour round trip to pick up my new computer---well worth the drive for the ethical personal care and attention Jim Rankin gives. He has never sold me more computer than I need or can use, and is available by phone and e-mail to help. I have my off-site backup with Tekshop, and that too is a very reasonable price. Jim and Connie Rankin both give excellent professional service with a friendly approach. Because I am not techno-savvy Jim is always patient with my lack of knowledge and tailors the setup of my computers to my needs rather than setting them up in a generic, "most people do this" kind of way. I could not be happier to be a customer of Tekshop of North Carolina.

  I have brought my computers to Tekshop for years. The work they do is second to none. Jim's technical know how and integrity are second to none, and Connie's customer service is the stuff of legend. Jim walks me through every step of any repair or purchase, explains my options, and helps me make the best possible decision for my needs. Connie is always there with a smile, and prompt service (she even plays with my son while I am conferring with Jim. ) I can not recommend them any higher. their prices are the best I have found, and they always make you feel like family. Do yourself and favor and get to know them for yourself.

  Jim and Connie at the Tekshop of N.C. are the best! Jim has been in the computer business for years and definitely knows all there is to know about computers and networks. Jim has been our (The Law Offices of William K. Goldfarb) go to I.T. guy for the pass 19 or 20 years. Jim is always ready to answer questions or help solve any issues over the phone and if we can't solve it over the phone then he comes as soon as possible. They always treats us as we our his #1 priority, but I know he treats all of his customers that way. We couldn't ask for a better computer I.T. guy than Jim, and Connie she terrific too!
